Great News! I am a 500 hr Certified Yoga Teacher!

I am officially a 500 hour Certified Yoga Teacher! It has taken me over 7 years of learning, teaching, and growing as a person through yoga teaching that has quite literally transformed my life.
I began to take classes as a way to cross-train when I was doing a lot of triathlons and distance running. What I experienced with time was a deeper understanding and connection to the core essence of who I am. My inner spirit and unique gifts began to uncover themselves and I am now living in alignment with my values and purpose more than ever before.
Cidananda – “cid” (consciousness) and “ananda” (bliss). A Sanskrit word that means to live consciously within your bliss.
This word sums up why we practice yoga. Yoga helps us become conscious of the miracle of being alive, and when we recognize that miracle, we are called to ask ourselves, “What am I going to do about that?”
The definition of Yoga is essentially that; Yoga is a practice that yokes our individual soul to the Divine, to God. It is a process by which we live to our fullest potential and figure out how to live a life of meaning. Deep, right? Is has been for me, that is why I have pursued this extraordinary practice of yoga for so long.
Why is this important for you? In my yoga teaching and in my performance consulting business, I am dedicated to helping you learn the tools to thrive and live skillfully to live a life of incredible possibilities! I have always said that yoga is an ideal laboratory for practicing courage, self-discovery, self-compassion, and understanding reactivity patterns. When we are authentic and strong; physically, mentally, and spiritually, we are living in our bliss and will affect the world in amazing ways.
Even if you are not into the enlightenment aspect of yoga, there are endless benefits to this practice. I have a whole page on my website dedicated to how yoga and mental conditioning will improve performance and by strengthening and transforming the body and mind.
