Mental Health Resource Fair - May 18th & Wellness Wednesdays in May - May 15th

The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  The awareness and continual progress toward decreasing stigma, advocating for more resources and treatments, and community involvement in mental health care is a cause near and dear to me. 

I am super proud to be a part of a couple of events in our community hosted by Birch and Banyon Coffee in Hartland, WI!

  • Wellness Wednesday, May 15th at 5:30 pm.  Topic:  Yoga & Mindfulness.  Sign up here. 
  • Mental Health Resource Fair, Saturday, May 18th from 12 pm to 2 pm.  20 plus mental health organizations and resource booths – all on the topic of mental health and wellness.

On Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 pm, I will be leading a discussion on how Yoga & Mindfulness can assist in improving mental health.  We will practice breathing techniques that help with anxiety and depression and learn certain yoga poses that can calm the mind and body.  I hope you will join me for an informal gathering to empower us all!

On Saturday, May 18th from 12 pm – 2 pm, I will be providing information on how Yoga and Mindfulness can improve mental health at a Mental Health Resource Fair at Birch and Banyon Coffee.   There will be over 20 organizations and service providers participating!  All will offer their specialized resources and practices for mental health.  Please read more about this important event here –
